In the traditional national faith a unicorn lost his wildness if it laid his head in the lap of a virgin. The unicorn is a legendary symbolic animal for innocence and the abolition of contrasts. (In the picture of the unicorn the ‘phallische urge’ with innocence and cleanness combines. What is called from psychotherapeutic view: Can the ‘animal desires’ be also realised without every debt feeling?) It is the female principle of the receiving and instinctive. After C.G.Jung the unicorn is a symbol for. According to a nice legend the unicorns missed the admission in the ark of Noah because they were occupied with plays. To survive, the person must keep an eye what happens in the real world.
The unicorn stands for unreserved love.

i had a dream that i had to duel this guy to the death, we were outside a house in the dark, it was raining and cold. The guy turned into a unicorn and charged me. This confused me as i stumbled and struggled for footing in the slich mud, as he passed me i ducked his horn and flayed his hide with this weird looking short knife/brassknuckle looking thing. It sank just beneath its skin, not damageing the muscle at all, but sliding and cuting all down its side. During the fight it stopped to help a little kid up who had fallen down, i stopped as well, as soon as the kid was up the unicorn again charged me, all throught the fight it was the unicorn that was the aggressor. I feel bad?about the whole dream. It woke me up shaken. I killed a unicorn, by defending myself. Wtf?
