Could see myself lying in bed sleeping on my side when suddenly a bolt about 3' wide came straight through the ceiling (?) extraordinarily bright, and engulfed me in a pool of static about the same size as the bed and about 3 feet deep. I couldn't see or hear anything except the static but I could see the parts of myself that one could normally see if you opened your eyes and looked at yourself lying in bed. It seemed that I lifted off the bed a little and began to turn in a circle (rotated, about a quarter turn) and I thought to myself, "I'm dead...but, I'm not dead!!!" at which point I guess I woke up and thought to myself. WOW! HOW WEIRD!!! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ALL ABOUT???!!! I felt all tingly and my dogs jumped up and ran out of the room with little woofs. They all came back shortly and I pondered if I should move my bed away from the window since I have a steel headboard, and the tingly went away. There was a thunderstorm going on at the time...though not a big one, nor was it right on top of me. There was no sound of thunder, no smell of ozone and no before it happened and no after it happened. Somewhere outside the zone of static I thought I heard someone scream...but it could have been me and I just couldn't hear myself over the static. Just a lightening strike...I guess. That is the only thing I can relate this to. Too weird! Never had anything like this happen to me before.
